PATHWAY® 3G Adjustable Metal Stairs — Aluminum Steps for Decks, Porches, Mobile Homes & Trailers (8"–56")

Metal Stairs with Free ShippingNeed sturdy, code-friendly steps without pouring concrete or building from lumber? The EZ-ACCESS® PATHWAY® 3G Adjustable Metal Stairs are a modular aluminum stair system that installs in minutes and adjusts to your exact rise — from a low 8" stoop up to a 56" mobile home or trailer entry.

Adjustable to Fit Your Exact Height

Each stair unit adjusts within a 7-inch height range, and seven models cover every rise from 8" to 56". Simply set the legs to match your porch, deck, platform, or landing — no cutting, welding, or guesswork. If your needs change, the stairs reconfigure or relocate just as easily.

Built to Last, Built for Safety

Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, these portable metal stairs support up to 850 lbs and never rust, rot, or need painting. Every tread features a permanent non-skid surface that won't wear down, and aluminum handrails on both sides provide secure support in any weather. At a generous 36" wide, there's plenty of room for safe, comfortable footing

Installs in Minutes — Freestanding Option Available

Attach the stairs directly to an existing deck, porch, or stoop, pair them with optional PATHWAY® 3G aluminum platforms (available in sizes from 4x4 to 5x8), or add optional rear support legs to create completely freestanding portable steps — ideal for stages, job-site trailers, temporary events, and rental properties.

Proudly made in the USA by EZ-ACCESS, backed by Express Ramps' expert support, and typically delivered with free ground shipping in 3–5 business days. Order yours today!

FAQs

Q. What height range do PATHWAY 3G Adjustable Stairs cover?
A. Seven models cover rises from 8" to 56". Each unit adjusts within a 7-inch range (e.g., 22" to 28"), so you can fine-tune the fit to your deck, porch, platform, or mobile home entry.

Q. How much weight can these metal stairs support?
A. Each stair system supports up to 850 lbs, making it suitable for residential and light commercial use.

Q. Can the stairs be freestanding?
A. Yes. Add the optional rear support legs (sold separately, from $59.99) to create fully freestanding portable steps — no attachment to a structure required.

Q. Do the stairs come with handrails?
A. Yes. Aluminum handrails for both sides are included with every stair system.

Q. How long does installation take?
A.  Most customers install PATHWAY 3G stairs in just minutes using basic tools. No cutting, welding, or concrete work is needed, and adjusting the height later is just as simple.

Q. Are these stairs safe in wet or icy weather?
A. The treads have a permanent non-skid surface that won't wear down, and the all-aluminum build won't rust or rot, so the stairs remain safe outdoors year-round.

Q. Will these work as mobile home or office trailer steps?
A. Yes — the 8"–56" adjustable range and freestanding rear-leg option make them a popular choice for mobile homes, manufactured homes, job-site trailers, and portable offices.

I added these to the pathway  ramp and platform I ordered.  They were pretty easy to adjust to the correct height and add right onto the platform.
