What the EZ-ACCESS Warranty Covers

If a covered part fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and service, EZ-ACCESS will, at its discretion:

  • Repair or replace the defective part with no charge for parts or labor
  • Replace the item with a comparable product if the original has been discontinued
  • Refund the purchase price

The warranty protects the structural aluminum and steel components that carry the load: the ramp sections, platforms, stair treads, legs and support hardware. It is designed to give you confidence that the system you rely on every day will stand up to years of use.

Not covered: the powder-coated finish and applied non-skid tape or tread, damage from installation errors, alterations or improper loads, and any product that has been transferred from the original purchaser.

Liability under the warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product, and incidental or consequential damages are excluded except where state law does not allow it. Read the full PDF for your warranty tier for complete terms.

How to File an EZ-ACCESS Warranty Claim

  1. Find your proof of purchase. Locate your Express Ramps order confirmation or invoice. Warranties are non-transferable, so the claim must come from the original purchaser.
  2. Document the problem. Take clear photos of the defect, the product label or serial number, and the full ramp or stair setup.
  3. Report it within 30 days. Contact the manufacturer within 30 days of discovering the defect and before making any repairs yourself.
  4. Get a Return Authorization. EZ-ACCESS will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number or schedule an on-site inspection. Do not ship anything back without an RA.
  5. Receive your remedy. After inspection, EZ-ACCESS repairs, replaces or refunds the item. Return shipping may be the purchaser's responsibility.

To start a claim, contact EZ-ACCESS customer service at (888) 679-2720 or customerrequest@ezaccess.com . Have your order number and photos ready.

Protect Your Warranty With Simple Care

Most warranty denials come from issues that routine care prevents. Install your system on a level, stable surface, follow the load rating, check fasteners and leg adjustments every few months, and keep surfaces clear of debris, ice and standing water. See our ramp care and maintenance guides for step-by-step checklists.

EZ-ACCESS Warranty FAQs

How long is the EZ-ACCESS warranty?

It depends on the product. EZ-ACCESS warranties are 1, 2, 3 or 5 years, or lifetime residential. The warranty term for each product is listed on its product page and in its owner documents.

Is the EZ-ACCESS warranty transferable?

No. All EZ-ACCESS warranties are non-transferable and cover only the original purchaser, with proof of purchase.

Does the warranty cover the non-skid surface or paint?

No. The powder-coated finish and applied non-skid tape or tread are excluded from every EZ-ACCESS warranty. Replacement tread and parts are available separately.

What does lifetime residential warranty mean?

It covers manufacturer parts and components against defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product, for the original residential purchase and delivery only.

How long do I have to report a defect?

You must report a defect within 30 days of discovering it. Waiting longer can void the claim.

Will a warranty claim cost me anything?

Covered repairs and replacements are made without charge for parts or labor. You may be responsible for shipping the product back to the manufacturer.

Does installing the ramp myself void the warranty?

No, as long as it is installed correctly according to the EZ-ACCESS instructions. Damage caused by installation errors, alterations or improper loads is not covered.

Where do I start a warranty claim?

Contact EZ-ACCESS directly at (888) 679-2720 or customerrequest@ezaccess.com to request a Return Authorization before returning anything.
