Eric Jungersen
Eric Jungersen is the President of Express Ramps, a family-owned wheelchair ramp and ADA accessibility equipment retailer he has led since 1999. He writes the Express Ramps buying guides and personally answers customer questions about ramp selection, slope, and ADA compliance, drawing on more than two decades of hands-on experience with ramps for homes and businesses.
About Eric
Eric founded Express Ramps in 1999, when the company was still operating under its original name, Accessibility World, and has run it as President through its 2005 rebrand and its growth into the #1 EZ-ACCESS® dealer in the United States. Express Ramps has been in the accessibility business since 1999, and Eric has been the person behind its product selection, its guidance, and its customer relationships for more than twenty of those years.
Unlike a typical e-commerce executive, Eric works directly with the customers who buy from Express Ramps. He fields the calls and emails that come in when someone needs to get a wheelchair up three porch steps by the weekend, when a facilities manager needs a ramp that passes an ADA inspection, or when a family isn't sure whether a threshold ramp or a modular system is the right answer. That daily contact with real installations is the source material for the guides published on this site.
He holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of New Mexico's Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business.

How these guides are written
Every guide in the Express Ramps Learn section is written or reviewed by Eric. Recommendations are based on published ADA Standards for Accessible Design, manufacturer specifications, and the outcomes of actual customer installations. When a question depends on local code or an inspector's judgment, the guide says so rather than guessing. Product recommendations reflect what Express Ramps sells and are labeled as such.
