Platform and stairs great for raised backyard doorways
We wish we had found this product line many years sooner. Several years ago we replaced our much too small, much too low, shaky, rotting wooden deck with this sturdy, roomy, rot-free, termite-proof, Class A fire resistance rated (flame spread index 0) non-combustible platform and stairs.
Even after years of daily use we still enjoy the tremendous ease of going in and out our back door. This kit has been completely maintenance free and meets the International Fire Code.
People often ask "Does the metal get too hot to touch in full sunlight?" No, never. It stays very close to air temperature at all times.
